You are a brave soul. Foolhardy, but brave.

I really like that movie. I know it's a little cheesy, but it's definitely a classic.

You're a braver person than I am.
I managed to sit thru 30 mins before I stopped and put it in my video tape rewinder so it's ready for my next trip back to Blockbuster Video.

A little cheesy? You have a kind heart.
That said, I too have watched Driven and Days of Thunder...and found them lacking in the realism dept. I have yet to see Rush, I am hoping Ron Howard blew those two racing movies out of the water...god please

I have a friend who loves it.
...
He is a looney.
He made me watch it. Maybe this friend word doesn't mean what I think it means.

I suggest you have a large bowl on your laps in case your mind goes numb then you start drooling while the movie. Good luck! :)

"Cheesy" is oftentimes good. Grand Prix is cheesy. "Terribad" is another thing entirely.

I've seen the movie several times, and honestly, I don't understand all the hate on it. I know it can be very cheesy sometimes, and other times it can be down right unrealistic, but still. It's not that bad of a movie.
